Hernán Garcés

Chairman

A visionary and leader in innovation in the fruit industry, Hernán joined his father’s company in 1984 at the young age of 19. In 2017, he stepped down as CEO to serve as Chairman.

Francisco Vodanovic

Chief Executive Officer

Francisco studied business administration at Universidad Católica and has over 15 years of experience in the food industry. He joined Garces Fruit in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed CEO in 2017.

Cristián Tagle

Chief Commercial Officer

Cristián studied agricultural engineering with a mention in agricultural economics and an MBA at Universidad Católica. He joined Garces Fruit in 2003 and has served as Chief Commercial Officer since 2011.

Joaquín Calvo

Chief Production Officer

Joaquín studied Agricultural Engineer at Universidad Católica of Chile, he joined us in 2011. His career path and comimtment have driven him to lead the Agricultural Productive Area of our Company aiming to boost the added value of service and cosultancy we provide every day to our growers.

Sebastián Warnier

Chief Agricultural Officer

Sebastián has a graduate certificate in business from Universidad Católica and over 28 years of experience in the agribusiness industry. Previously, he was Chief Agricultural Officer for 15 years at a large winery and advised several French and Spanish agricultural companies for another seven years after that. Sebastián joined the company in 2015 as Chief Agricultural Officer.

Felipe Borgoño

Chief Operating Officer

Felipe studied agricultural engineering at Universidad de Concepción and an MBA at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez. He joined the company in 1999 in charge of the Industrial Area. In 2017, he was appointed to his current position in charge of the newly created Operations Area.

Joaquin Verdugo

Chief Industrial Officer - San Fco Mostazal

Joaquin studied agricultural engineering at Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. He joined the company in 2018 as Processing Plant Manager at San Francisco de Mostazal, after working previously as Plant Manager for an exporter for four years.

Rodrigo Julio

Chief Industrial Officer - Molina

Rodrigo studied agricultural engineering and obtained a graduate certificate in operations management at Universidad Católica. With 15 years’ experience in the food industry in the finance, commercial, agricultural and industrial areas, he joined Garces Fruit in 2013 as Chief Industrial Officer at the Molina Plant.

Claudia Silva

Chief People Officer

Claudia studied business administration and a masters in people management and organizational dynamics at Universidad de Chile. She joined the company in 2015 in the Human Resources Area and was named Chief People Officer in 2018.

Jorge Passi

Chief Financial Officer

Jorge studied industrial engineering and a masters in IT business engineering at Universidad de Chile. With over 12 years’ experience in management control and finance in the metallurgic, manufacturing and service industries, he joined the company in late 2017 as Chief Financial Officer.

Felipe Ovalle

Digital Transformation Manager

Industrial Civil Engineer from Universidad del Desarrollo. With 13 years of experience managing teams in the areas of Logistics, Operations, Information Technology, and Business Digital Transformation, Felipe joins Garces Fruit in 2021 to lead Digital Transformation Management.
